Pride Becomes Her

September 3rd, 2019

Pride played a big part in our choice for the Philly Temps Employee of the Month for September, 2019. Not only are we proud of the stellar way Christine T. represents us when she is on assignment, but she is proud to represent the city she calls home. Her skills seem as varied as the many neighborhoods in the city she loves, and her ability to dive right in to any situation in an effort to get the job done makes her a favorite among staff and clients alike.

Anyone would be lucky to be working with her, but for now, you can read more about here below.

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?

Christine T. (CT): South Philly born and raised!

PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps?

CT: I have a diverse background and worked in many different neighborhoods and businesses in Philadelphia, including Italian restaurants on Passyunk Avenue, in Passyunk Square, professional offices atop of Liberty One and Comcast Center in Center City,  and, hair salons in South Philly.  Presently, my focus is helping executives succeed in starting their business ventures. I’m so proud of my city and seeing it grow along with all the new businesses is very exciting.

PT:  How did you hear about Philly Temps?

CT:  After googling PhillyTemps and reading their outstanding reviews, I decided to give them a shot. Stefanie D. is such a great recruiter and is so thoughtful and personable. Choosing Philly Temps was a great decision for me and I’m proud to be working with them.

PT: Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps.

CT: My most memorable occasion with Philly Temps was Stefanie walking over cookies to me for Administrative Professionals Day on Wednesday, April 24 of this year.

PT:  What are your long-term career goals?

CT: There are so many new and cool places to work in Philly so my career goals are continuing to be technologically savvy while growing and having fun alongside my city. The city’s energy is electric and positive, and I’m proud to still live here.  As big Philly is becoming, it still has a small-town feel.

PT:  What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

CT:  Hobbies outside of work include biking in and around the city, computers and apps and spending time with my family down the shore.

PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?

CT: I would refer PhillyTemps to anyone looking for work no matter how much experience. Great people and I can’t say enough good things about them.

Still Waters Run Deep

Ameen P. carries himself with a quiet dignity that is not often seen in people his age. That is part of the reason that we have chosen him as Philly Temps & Perm Employee for the Month for August 2019.

We also considered the 135 assignments he has completed. 135 times he has represented Philly Temps, Philadelphia and himself with respect and professionalism while remaining flexible and positive.

If the name Ameen P. Sounds familiar, it’s because his Father, Ameen SR, held the EOM title in December of 2014. This apple does not fall from the tree when it comes to a great work ethic, however Ameen does not live in his Father’s shadow. He has used his creativity and focus to forge his own path.
