Bookkeeper Job Summary:

Our  client, an accounting office in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. This person must have several years of professional experience in this role, along with an ability to take on a large workload. This is a part-time position with flexible hours that has the opportunity to become permanent.

Required responsibilities and skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks required
  • Responsible for completing bank, payroll, and sales reconciliations
  • Answering phones and additional clerical activities as needed
  • Proficient in Office 365 (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong commitment to detail and error free performance
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Reliable
  • Self-starter who needs minimal direction
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • Solid ability to organize, manage and maintain a positive office environment
  • At least 3 years in a similar role
