A simple recipe for success:

A dash of confidence, a pinch of curiosity and a heaping helping of positivity is the beginning of a recipe for success in the job market. Kimberly F. knows how to mix all of those things together for the best outcome and that is why she is the Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for July 2025.

Experts say that one side of the brain is for logic and one side of the brain is for creativity — Kimberly F. merges those two concepts. She celebrates her creativity while having a vision of how to parlay it into a successful business model.

This also makes Kimberly easy to work with. Not only does she understand that hard work is the best way to fell good about your job, but she inherently makes any task interesting which keep her coworkers engaged.

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?

Kim F (KF): I grew up in Abington, PA.  Went to Temple University and lived all around the city.  Recently moved back to Abington.

PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps?

KF: I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and worked in social service prior to that after graduating college.  Culinary is my passion, but recently I have been working behind the scenes with the administration side and accounting.

PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?

KF: I heard about Philly Temps through Indeed Job Board.

PT: Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps. 

KF: It has been great getting such positive feedback from the staff and client, it is nice to be appreciated!     

PT: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? 

KF: I love to travel!  I enjoy reading, mainly fiction.  I enjoy the beach, swimming, and yoga.  I enjoy live music and outdoor concerts during the warmer months.  I also enjoy spending time with family and visiting local attractions.   

PT: What are your long-term career goals?

KF:  I would like to use my varied experience and background to find work that I enjoy, and try to take some continuing education classes to improve my current skill set.  I hope to find a permanent place with a company with lots of opportunities and growth potential.

PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?

KF: Be open and honest with the team in what specific type of work environment you are looking for and don't be afraid to advocate for yourself and make sure you work with the team to find a good match.
