Employee of the Month: May 2026

Stitching Together Different Experiences: April 2026 Employee of the Month

Do people love Philadelphia because it is a great place to live or is it a great place to live because of the people? Now that we have worked with Mia C, it is hard to deny that Philadelphia is a better place because she is here!

Beyond the language and format of Mia’s resume, one notices a track record of rising to the next level of each of her previous experiences. More importantly, Mia did not rest at the top, but rather initiated improvements, educated herself and coworkers and improved the outcome and dynamic of each position.

Her attention to detail, her ability to quickly comprehend information and her seemingly endless abilities all start with a smile. The fact she choose to work Philly Temps keeps a similar smile on our faces.

We’re very proud to have Mia on our team.

Thank you, Mia!

Mia C (MC): Thank you again for the honor of being selected as Employee of the Month. I truly appreciate the recognition.
Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?
MC: I’m a Philadelphia native. I lived in Atlanta, Georgia for three years, but Philadelphia has always been home.

PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps?

MC: I’m a corporate professional with over 15 years of experience in account and project management, overseeing teams, budgets, and operations across the security and healthcare advocacy sectors.

PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?

MC: I have had success with temp agencies in the past, so when I began looking for a new career path, I searched for reputable companies. Philly Temps was the first result, and the reviews spoke highly of the inclusive and supportive company culture.

PT: Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps.

MC: I’ve mainly worked with the Events Department supporting sporting events and conferences. My most memorable experience was working a charity event for March Madness. The attendees were so grateful that many stopped by the registration tables to personally thank us. Those interactions made me feel seen, valued, and proud to represent the team.

PT: Do you have a favorite local place to shop, visit, or grab lunch?

MC: I am looking forward to the street festivals throughout the city this summer. They are a great way to discover small businesses and experience the culture of different neighborhoods.

PT: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

MC: You can find me running or walking through the city, visiting museums, enjoying live music, or trying out restaurant recommendations with friends.

PT: What are your long-term career goals?

MC: My purpose is to enrich the lives of others. I’ve always been an advocate for those who couldn't advocate for themselves. My stepfather once told me it doesn’t matter what my specific title is because I simply "help people." My goal is to continue living that purpose regardless of the industry.

PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?

MC: Be yourself and be open to new experiences. Change is inevitable, but it doesn’t have to be difficult. If you’re looking for a supportive network to guide you, look no further.
